Web Developer in training · Engineering student · Building projects one step at a time.
Hi, I’m David Akoda, an Integrated MSc student in Electronic Engineering at the Hellenic Mediterranean University in Chania, Crete.
My academic journey combines a strong foundation in computer networks, electronics, and systems with a growing passion for full-stack web development and the
possibilities of AI integration.
I enjoy learning by building: from course projects like responsive layouts and web apps in PHP/MySQL, to personal experiments with CSS, Flexbox, and Grid.
My goal is to be job-ready as a full-stack developer by summer 2026, with a portfolio that reflects both solid engineering principles and modern design practices.
Outside of coding, I work evenings in hospitality, train consistently at the gym, and explore music by connecting with local musicians in Chania.
I’m motivated, structured, and committed to continuous growth — whether in my studies, my projects, or my personal pursuits.
Note: As part of my studies, I developed projects such as the Library e-Shelf (PHP/MySQL), which is highlighted in the Projects section.
A dynamic online book library where each title has its own page and users can “borrow” books.
Availability updates instantly as data is stored and managed through a PHP/MySQL backend.
